Steve , I worked for Atlantic Richfield for a short time in their medical products subsidiary . They use a three step cleaning process for parts before we sent parts from the machine shop to the clean room for assembly . Trichlor , acetone , and methanol to get stuff squeaky clean. All in an ultrasound bath . I do it that way on carb work still . Ivan
