Richard I think you are saying it has 16.9 x 24, 8 ply.
I don't think Charlie V (or I for that matter) understand what you mean by a
9.12 x 24. Is it possible you mean 12.9 x 24? I'm not sure that is a valid
size either. I'm thinking it would be 12.6 x 24.
To answer your question we really need to know the width of the rim. You
can measure the flat part inside the rim, from inside to outside and that
will be close enough.
If it measures less than 14" you should be ok. If it measures 16 or greater
you might have trouble getting the bead of the tire to seat properly. If
you can get it to seat, it will be ok to run them. I don't know how well
they'll word for you. For one thing they will be quite a bit shorter
(measured from the ground to the top of the tire) and will reduce your speed
in all gears. However it will give you more torque at the wheels. That
might be good but it will probably cause excessive wheel spin (more torque
plus less tread contact with the ground).
Hope this helps
Charlie Hill
