I have just acquired a 12A combine, vintage 1951.  It is a "sacker" with LUC engine.  Engine won't turn with crank but may not be seriously stuck.  Upper sheet metal is good, won't know about the bottom side until I get it pulled out of the weeds.  Appears to be all original, i.e. all the pieces are there.

I would appreciate comments on the feasibility of putting this back in the field both pro and con.  Are belts, canvas, etc. available at reasonable cost?  Or should I just take the engine as a power unit?

We had an 11A (pto drive w/bin) on the farm in my youth so am somewhat familiar.
