[AJD] Starting Trouble 51-B

Not alot of black smoke prior to dying.  When it ran, it was missing a bit.
When it died, it just sputtered and died.  Choke or throttle couldn't keep
it going.

I tried the choke trick and it didn't help.  I also got a good steady steam
of fuel from the petcock at the bottom of the carb.

What I ended up doing is pulling the carb.  I'll rebuild that as, it turns
out, it wasn't rebuilt when the tractor was restored.  I'm guessing that
having set for years at a time it is full of varnish and gunk and who knows
what else!

While the carb is off and the tractor is down, I'll order a set of points
and replace those, too.  That way, I'll know where I'm starting from.  Yet
another dumb question:  Are they just as easy to change as auto points?  Had
a set on my mustang years ago, but went electronic as I got tired of having
to touch them up with a fingernail file!

I wish I had a place locally where I could pick up parts.  Oh well.
