[AT] Ford manual weirdness

I have 2 shop manuals for the NAA,
the reprint of the Ford Dearborn manual and the I+T.

I was looking in them for info on the rear axle seals + bearings.

The official Ford manual has 3 sections, Engine, Transmission, Hydraulics.
Nothing about the rear end, diff, rear axles, or brakes.

The I+T manual has quite a bit on the rear end, but raises a question.
I have been told there is a hard collar on the rear axle outer seals,
that you crack to remove and hot press the new one on.
ie, similar to some Cat designs.
The I+T book doesn't mention it at all.

Just wanted to throw this out for entertainment value,
now back to politics.

Thanks
