[AT] D2 Eiseman Magneto Ohm reading?

Hello, 

My father is working on his D2 in upstate NY. 

He is having troubles with his Eisemann Magneto on the 2 cylinder pony motor. He had spark, now he has none. 

He wants to know, if he has the points open, and he connects his ohm meter to the grounding post, what kind of reading should he expect? The ground post being the post that you ground with a switch or a metal tab to stop the engine. 

I believe this is the RC-2H magneto?
