 Charlie , Several people I know have had the hip done ,say its a major pain 
short term but once you get past that its great .  I got several more years 
with the oem parts to go according to the doc. Used to use Viox and another 
till it was pulled off the market . Now the oral steroids work, just that 
you cant take them too often.Only resort to them when I cant push the clutch 
pedal .
