Much of the time when I use 5 gallon cans I just stick in a funnel and
hold the can up in the air but I have noticed that today's fuels are
apparently a lot heavier than fuels used to be (tractors are also
taller). :-)
When I can I like to just park the tractor where there is room and
back a pickup up to it so I can stand on the tailgate to pour. I also
have been known to drive a tractor over close to my flatbed trailer so
I can stand on it.
It has also occurred to me that I could build a concrete block "upping
block" (like for mounting horses) to pull a tractor next to for
fueling.
