Dick,  I feel dumb.  When you started this thread I thought you were talking 
about fertilzer spreaders.
Well........, I guess you were, .....just a different type of fertilizer.

>From what I've seen of manure spreaders they get eaten up from corrosion 
before they wear out mechanically.  If that one looks good it probably is. 
It's hard to tell from here.
