I was led to believe  that  an  automotive   engine  wouldn't bolt straight 
up to one of these trucks.
 
We have  a  C65 that started life with a   dandy  366,  and  now  after a  
few really stupid  "friends-  helping " its on its 2nd  427---    the  366 and 
all  the 427  looked the very same  on the outside to me.   (and  from what 
have read  they are the same block)
