These are generic, though Duey says they are for A-C tractors.
There are several to choose from, including mag fired, distributor
ignition and alternator/12V conversions.

Subject : [AT] Wiring tractors

Hello, anyone know what would be wrong with just removing all the old
wiring from at least 4 IHC tractors and starting fresh ? Like from Batt to
alt- amp gauge.
Switch to resistor to coil ect.
Like on the 560 there`s so many wires under the dash that I cant even get to
the switch to replace it without cutting something out of the way. I cant
figure what all the wires are for, but for what we use tractors for is farm
work. And the SC - 350U - 560 - M - Cub are all bad wired since we got them.
And all but the 350 has Delco alternators on them. Does anyone have a simple
diagram that will work for these ? If so I would appreciate it if you would
contact me on or offlist at, oldiron62 at gmail.com
The way it is now is a mess that affects the usability. I wish they all had
magnetos on them in one way. And in another way like the batt ignition also
for lighting if needed. I thought it a good time to get off the old disc as
I am pretty sure that Dean V will know if it is JD or not ?
Thanks Yall
The only tractor we have without wiring problems is the 504 and I had to run
a jumper from batt to resistor the other day after I let it get wet. So its
another candidate for a simple rewiring job. O ya I forgot the F-20 and F-12
but they dont need much wiring with the mags and crank starters.

Kevin
