[AT] Hydrogen fuel

LOL!, Steve. Funny thing, no one has repealed the laws of thermodynamics. Entropy is always with us.

As George knows, I worked with a design for a fuel-cell tractor over 50 years ago. I was finally "allowed" to pursue the design after Allis-Chalmers published news of their prototype. But there were so many problems (including an ambient operating temperature of over 700 degrees for the fuel cells) that I was embarrassed to even report back to International Harvester with the design. Fortunately, the Selective Service system was breathing down my neck and I was able to head off for active service with the US Air Force without having to report back to IH. It's just as well. IH was looking for breakthrough ideas for the Cub Cadet prior to its introduction. I missed the message, so the design I came up with was not even in the ballpark.

Larry
