I had my home propane tank filled by Cenex Skagit Co-op 2 weeks ago and the 
price was $1.79 a gallon. It took 191 gallons to fill the 500 gallon tank.

Depends on the amount and your account also I had 100 gallons put in at my 
old house just to maintain the home and it was $2.29 because it was not on 
auto fill and only partial tank load I have a 500 gallon tank there also.

The cheapest I've seen here (30 miles north of Seattle) is 2.459 for diesel
and 1.819 for regular.  I bought 5 gal of propane right after Thanksgiving
for 3.05/gal at our local farm store.  That price had held steady for at
least a couple of months ... I don't know what the price is now but man,
you'd sure think it should be tumbling.

While we are on the subject of tumbling prices I've wondered for some time
now about lubricating oil.  I bought a case (12 quarts) of 10W-30 at Costco
a couple of weeks ago for 29 bucks.  Yikes, that's almost 10 bucks a gallon
... I wonder when that's going to start falling -

The lowest Gas prices on the West side of Phoenix, AZ are now $1.53 for
regular
gas and $ 1.91 for diesel. Still don't know why Diesel is higher priced than
gas. Those that have locked in contract prices for farm fuel and fertilizer
trying to protect themselves against what at one time was continually
increasing
prices are probably really getting hurt. I wonder if the suppliers are
letting
them out of those contracts now? Kind of a difficult situation. Airlines
Co's
are dealing with this same issue.

I noticed that regular unleaded was $1.54.9 today when I had to run in
town. I heard that crude was under $40 and that it was predicted to
drop on down to $25...
I have also heard a few things about prices coming down on natural
gas. Has anyone heard anything recent about propane prices? How about
diesel? I have heard talk about some fertilizer prices "tumbling"
quickly as well.

It has been a while since I felt comfortable about buying much fuel
for my old tractors just to putter with. I may feel like puttering a
lot this spring.
