[AT] Ford 3000 mystry lever

On my 3000 there is a sheet metal lever on the right side of the rear end
housing.  It is behind the flow control block off plate.  You can see it in
the picture in the link.  What does this lever do?  I have tried it in both
positions and noticed no difference.

Also the selector lever is missing.  Anyone have one to sell or know where I
can get one?
