      Will, 
 
        If you are going to vulcanize rubber you will need a heated platen
     to cure the rubber .... usually  20 - 30 minutes per set up.  Is it
possible
     that you can use urethane to make these parts ??  Neither process can
     be called inexpensive.  Either way you need a mold, but at least you
     won't have to use heat to cure the urethane
 
       We cast a mold of aluminum and cleaned it up to shape.  Don't let
    people tell you that you must have a steel mold .... we made thousands 
    of parts using aluminum molds.
