 Kevin , I have always had good success using a good strong paint remover 
and a few rocks inside of tank to help while sloshing them around. If that 
doesn`t cut it loose , your up a creek without a paddle .

 . When I noticed the fuel pump. What can I pour in the gas tank that will 
cut the black dried out gas varnish ? there appears to be 1/4" of that crap 
in the tank.
