I bet if you go in with that I hate yuppies attitude they will likely respond real well. (;^) Typically if you have the reciept they take things back no questions asked. I bought a trim push mower there last fall. Who ever took it out of the box put the oil in the crank case and put it up on the angled display rack. Before I got it home the leaking from the muffler had started and I returned it they gave me a new one in the box. No problem

I agree with Bill, certainly worth a try, and if you'd rather just get a refund than trust them with a replacement I wouldn't hesitate to ask. With a few exceptions (such as one carburetor- and electrical-supply vendor recently discussed at length on this forum), I've found that most companies have a manager at some level willing to do the right thing to satisfy a customer. If the lower-level folks don't see it my way, I politely say "I'm sorry, but that's unacceptable. Could you please direct me to your manager so we can discuss it further?" It's not as much fun in the short run as getting all righteously angry, but the results in the long run are usually pretty good. :-)> > Dean Vinson> Dayton, Ohio> www.vinsonfarm.net> _______________________________________________> AT mailing list> http://www.antique-tractor.com/mailman/listinfo/at
