[AT] Lowering Gas prices, not Politics

I'd agree that party doesn't matter that much.

I would also have to think that politicians are supposed to represent
the people that elect them. Maybe there's too close a link between
election money and elected officials, but that's probably not
something for this forum.

On the other hand, anybody with a little common sense probably
wouldn't WANT the job of a politician. I certainly wouldn't want it
because I would get the blame for everything. I'm imperfect enough as
it is. :)
