[Ford-ferguson] positive ground charging.

I know what you typed may make sense to you.. but to someone with
electronics training.. it sounds like confusing giberish baby talk.

Be VERY specific when you talk about polarity.. Forget 'red' black'.. etc.

Also.. do not use the reference 'ground' as a set polarity. TOO MANY people
use 'ground' as a way of saying 'negative'.

For connecting chargers:

ALWAYS attach like polarities. Thus.. charger (+) to battery (+) and
charger (-) to battery (-)

Don't worry about what the ground ploarity is.. just hook the charger up
correctly. Also.. do not set the charger in contact with the tractor
frame... some cheap chargers have tied their metal case to the (-) cable,
thus making them make a shower of sparks when you set them on the metal hood
of a tractor that is positive ground. Always use a piece of rubber . like
an old car floor mat to isolate chargers from the tractor sheet metal.

Mike all of the equipment is the way it is supposed to be as positive
ground. so what is it to be ? The red on the ground and the black on the
positive when the 6 volt switch is on when charging ?
