Hi Clint,
I am familiar with the D315 in the older Traxcavators and they indeed have
a precombustion chamber that screws in, it seals with a copper washer on
the bottom and an O ring at the top. There is a special tool available
from Cat for removing and installing. I am not sure if the D330 has the
same setup or if they are direct injection. Try a post on www.acmoc.org,
someone there will know for sure.
