It was a good week on craigslist for me to buy
tractors.. I bought an A, and 2 B's.. I missed a
420 crawler, but I figured the sellers would not wait
for me to get over to them given their low price and
the good looks of the crawler.. so it was no suprise
when I called this morning to see if it was still
there and they said no, sorry..
Anyway, I bought late B with some sort of loader
on it. It turns over, it was left on this property
be the old owner, new owner wants it gone.. It has
parts of what looks like an 800 hitch on the back,
and a loader. The metal is about as straigt as I have
seen. Tires look pretty good. It has a convertable
front end if I remember rights.
B#2, a 1947, has a roll-o-matic front end. It
is an all fuel, and turns over. It had sat where it
was for about 7 years. I offered no resistance to the
winch when I went to load it up. It wanted to come
home with me. It is pretty rusty looking, but it is
straight.
The A, well what can I say, I have a weakness
for A's, and I figured I could use the 42" tires and
rims on the back, so I bought it as a parts tractor.
it has powersteering added onto it... It has a
converable front end. I am curious as to why it has
42" rears, but maybe they did that with the
changeable fronts? The tin is shot. Motor turns over,
has antifreeze in the radiator. Delco distributor.

Can anyone tell me about the power steering on the
A? What about the loader on the B. It looks pretty
like it was legitimately manufactured as opposed to
home built. The loader on the A is a pile of junk..
