[AT] Portland tractor spot?

    Farmer;
    I brought this up with the tractor directors and they have indicated
they will work with us. The spot we had for two years was taken away from us
last year, supposedly to allow the tram wagons room to pass. They never
passed within 30 feet of the area we had. Hope we can get this area back.
    Sadly, on work Saturday in April, I was the only reperesentative from
A.T.I.S. in attendance. I do all I can with the officers and directors as
one person. Suggestions and coperation seems to be better accepted when
offered beforehand. Gripes and complaints rendered after the fact is not so
well received.
    This summer show we will be competing for space with the Gravely Mow-In
held in conjunction with the show and in the same general. Gravely
representatives have been very active with their plans and we will have to
work to protect our interests.
    We need to be more proactive and less reactive with our desires. We can
work together more and accomplish our goals.

        Gene Dotson
