Carl,

I consider the admonition to "grow up" at the age of 72 to be a sharp stick
in the eye.  A quote regarding what people who know that isn't so isn't IMHO
a political statement, but one that was cleverly worded.  Of course you're
free to think otherwise. 

To make bold statements with the pretense of expertise on any subject should
be subject to audit even though you may not agree.  That's how knowledge is
expanded.
