[AJD] New to me R's and D

I have never owned a Two Cylinder Diesel before, now
after today I own three... I bought the two R's that
I mentioned earlier, plus a third one for some of the
parts that I need.

  I also purchased a 1937 D. The D has cast centers
on the rear, and cut down round spokes on the front.
It has a really nice original 7.50 -16 front tire,
and nonthing on the other side.. The old guy bolted a
truck wheel to the spokes of the rim to 'add a tire'
to the front to move it around..

R#1 I won't quite go as far as to say it is
restored, but has been painted, has new rear tires,
nice fenders and hood, and an ok nosepiece. Older
paint job but it looks nice. The pony motor is off the
tractor, it had frozen and cracked the block. It has
been welded and is ready to be re-assembled. Comes
with gaskets and new rings... The rear axle housing is
cracked at the outboard bearing on the left side, and
has a 'repair' done to it. It also comes with a good
axle housing. No PTO or hydraulics on this tractor.

R#2 was a tandem R. It is missing the front axle,
and all steering linkages from the shaft that goes
down through the crankcase. The shaft is there, as is
the steering wheel, but nothing else. This tractor
has Hydraulics and a PTO. It also has inner and outer
rear wheel weights. Tires are weather checked but
hold air. It is missing the hood and front grill. The
exaust manifold is broken.

R#3 is rumored to have been rebuilt and then had a
barn collapse on it. The frame was broken and
replaced with the frame from an 80. The hood and
grill were smashed.

   So I am in the R business now. I can't find a
weight in any of the books I have for the R's. I am
guessing around 8500 pounds but I can't find it in
print in anything I have. I imagine it changes
drastically with fluid filled tires vs. air filled.
Any help on weights would be appreciated. I hope to
pick the at least one R and the D up on Friday.

I did not get a chance to take pictures today,
the weather was just awful and cold up there today..

               Chris
