Yup...that sure sounds like it, Gene.  Am told there are still remains of 
the old ponds used here in the valley.  I need to get a picture of one.

  I know of two saws here.  One at the Townsend, Mt. Museum and mine, 
neither have the gauge.  Mine has two notches in the cross piece up by the 
hand holds..assume they're for reigns.

  Very kewl piece of history, IMO.
