About 10 years ago I visited Denny's place in person, to look at a Super M
he had for sale and to buy a few miscellaneous after-market parts for the
Super M I already had. It would have been fun to have another Super M at
home (the first one was up at my dad's farm), but Denny's price and my
checkbook weren't a good match so I passed on the tractor.

But I did buy the other stuff, a couple little things to clean up the wiring
on my tractor. The parts were fine but the transaction was decidedly
unpleasant--once it became clear I wasn't going to buy his tractor he seemed
to have something much better to do than sell me any of the parts he'd
advertised in his catalog. Kept me waiting a very long time without
explanation while he went to get the stuff, then seemed impatient and
unfriendly while I paid for it. In hindsight I wish I'd relieved him of the
burden of having me as a customer right at that moment, but I certainly
haven't felt the need to return.
