Charles,

 http://www.robertscarbrepair.com/

I too can recommend Roberts for JD carburetor repair. I have been in the
facility twice and it is a professionally run operation. They go through the
carburetor thoroughly but IMHO the key to their success is the test engine
they use to test each carburetor for proper functioning before sending it
back to their customer. I don't think Denny's has that capability.

The repair charge is a bit hefty at Roberts and the wait time may be several
weeks. But I have heard of very few customers who have not been happy with
the results.

By contrast, I never have heard a discouraging word about Robert's in NW
Iowa. They have done work for me, and I've ordered parts from them and it
has been first class or better. The carb came back so pretty I hated to put
fuel in it...a work of art. They had repaired and tested it, then removed
the brass parts, painted the body, and reinstalled the shiney brass.

Bill if Roberts Carb has a webb site, could you post it?
I may need their services.
