[AT] Separating Water from Hydraulic Oil?

In WWII the old diesel subs used to mix sea water in with the diesel fuel if 
I remember the story right . Something about for ballast purposes in order 
to be able to dive .  Anyhow they used a centrifuge to seperate it when the 
ship was running the diesel engines  .  We toured the sub that they have on 
display in Pittsburg , totally different than the nukes that I worked on 
when I was in .  Ivan
