Did you try putting some gasoline in the front two sparkplug holes and
then cranking it to see if they front fires a time or two. It sounds
like a plugged manifold to me or a piece of the intake gasket missing. I
just fixed a ford 300 six in my truck that idled on 5 and ran on 6 that
had big hole in the intake gasket on the bottom, try starting it up and
then spray some starting fluid around the intake gasket on one and two,
if it is bad it will start firing when you spray.. Ed
