Sounds like some of my dealings with oil companies and pipeline 
companies.  Pipeline company sent out a real winner to buy right of way 
for a pipeline to go across my place down south towards Chickasha.  He 
wanted to split the farm because of a canyon and not wanting to go near 
a new house that was built with a huge horse barn...  It was about 3/4 
mile of right of way.  Then he wanted to pay $4400 for the privlege.   I 
had him meet with the other 4 neighbors and me together.  He did not 
know that was the way it was going to happen, but I worked it that way.  
Then when we were all together I told him that is was going to cost 
$10,000 per 1/4 mile and we would all decide where and how it was to be 
run..   He left and came back a week later offered $10,000 total, I told 
him where to go, and he has not been back.   They are still hauling oil 
from the wells..

Chesapeake energy is building a Boy's town 1/2 mile from me, and 
underwriting the entire 14million cost. 
 You cannot just farm.  If you have land, every corporation thinks it is 
to be used for the "public good" ..
