John,

After paying dues to the tri-state club for 32 years I just found out last
year that there was a senior program that entitled the bearer of the special
card they provided to free admission.  I doubt it has any effect on camping
fees or reservations.  I found out about the program several years after we
were eligible.

As you know already, special campsites can't be reserved.  As Gene pointed
out it's necessary to have a reason the club understands to receive special
consideration.  What's yours?
