Phil i have two JD tractors with blowers a 318+214 they both are at least
15 years old. And i can not see where the blower causes and harm to
them. I have a circular drive one in front and one in the back. I like the
318 best cause it has a cab. I keep the 214 in the shop so if i want to
clean out in front of the main door open door and blow away. Keep the 318
in garage at the house so that is where i normally start. It take about 1
hour to clean up all of it. If it were my choice i would watch e bay for a
cab and buy a new blower for the 425.
