Carl,

There have been many discussions of this topic on the FarmallCub.com board. 
This one is the latest:

After you read through this one you could do a search for others. The 
concensus is to use threaded rod instead of a bolt, though. That way you 
take advantage of the full depth of the threads in the crankshaft, instead 
of just the outer ones. Good luck.
