[AJD] Where is the best show

Well, I'm kind of partial. I really like our local show. The Pioneer Harvest
Fiesta in Ft. Scott, KS will be celebrating 50 years September 29, 30, and
Oct 1. In past years the show has gotten smaller, but this year we have a
new president and several new members who are working hard to make this
Golden Jubilee show really special. Other than this show, a couple of places
I make sure to attend is Goessel, KS the first weekend of August. Not many
run of the mill tractors, but a very large collection of prarie tractors,
threshing, plowing, corn binding, etc. Another is the Ozark Steamorama in
Republic, MO. Many steam engines, lots of tractors and lots of vendors.
Demonstrations throughout the day of threshing, rock crushing, shingle mill.
Most operated by steam power. They also have a large steam shed which has
several stationary steam engines operated off of one boiler. I don't get too
far from home. Would love to go the Mt. Pleasant sometime.
