[AT] Packing question

Kevin, a list member a while back recommended Fuelube, also known as EZTurn.
It's an aviation product and I found it quickly online and ordered a pound
can, which was the minimum. While my application was to seal a tapered
brass fuel valve, I've since used it on several leaky fuel applications and
it works wonders. It's like a real heavy, very sticky, grease. Pricey: I
paid nearly $50 for product and shipping and minimum order. Maybe someone
can find a better source.

I think the original solution for what you speak of was cotton string soaked
in thick soap.

Subject: [AT] Packing question

I lost a tank of gas on the ground because of the packing in the fuel
shutoff valve on the 560 sediment bowl. This new type packing material
wont hold up to gas. I think it used to be cotton ? Anyone have this problem
let me know, hate to buy a new sediment bowl ?
