[AT] corn binders

Been binding a little corn to run through the silage cutter for fun. Been a 
few years since we used the binder (IHC horsedrawn). Whenever I hit some 
really green corn the binder had a problem kicking out the bundles and would 
lock up the machine. Dry corn worked fine. We had the corn planted a little 
on the thick side so our guess is that in the green corn it was just more 
than the machine could handle. I would think ordinarily the machine could 
handle green corn--as long as its not too thick. I'm thinking we just won't 
plant it so thick next year. Anybody ever run one of these enough to know if 
thats the solution?
