Farmer,  look around for a Buick LeSabre with the 3.8 L V-6.  Make sure the 
intake manifold isn't leaking.  If that is ok and it's not setting any 
computer codes you'll have a dependable, comfortable car that will get close 
to 30 mpg on the highway and average about 24.   Virtually the same car was 
made as an Olds Delta 88 and a Pontiac Bonneville.  I'm sure there are other 
makes and brands that will do the same.  That is just what I'm familiar 
with.
My sister has a 95 Bonneville and Lynn has a 97 Lesabre.  Both of those were 
bought new but based on the service they have had from those 2 cars there 
should be some good used ones out there.
