[Steam-engine] Question please

Andy, I have no way of knowing what diameter glass was OEM on this Lunk. 
I've never seen one before and I got it without glass.  Maybe someone on the 
list can help me out here.  5/8's OD is what I'm using now as it was the 
biggest size that fit thru the nut.  I see where you're coming from tho. 
This arrangement is holding a 60 psi Hydro.

  The O-ring was suggested by a guru on another list.  I believe I would 
have to reduce the size between 3/8's and 1/2" OD in order for the hose 
washer to fit in-between, but I like that idea as the glass would be assured 
a cushion all the way around.
