That clears it up.  Around here in this sandy, rock free dirt we just wore 
them out.  We didn't bend a lot of blades and the sand kept them pretty 
sharp.  To the best of my knowledge I've never seen one.  A well worn blade 
around here will cut you.

The roller is used to sharpen the disc on a disc harrow.  The operation
involves turning the disc between tightly pinched rollers to reshape the
disc edge cutting surface.
