I have a parts D with a PTO. It is a styled D, but I think the set up is
the same for the late unstyled. Maybe Greg or JR can answer that.

Contact me off list if you are interested.

Subject: [AJD] John Deere D PTO

Hi Everybody,

I'm still thinking about a brush hog....... I've
decided that my little Allis Chalmers B probably won't
do it. I have an unstyled '36 D that doesn't have a
PTO. Looking at the hp on the D it appears it would
handle a 5 or 6 foot brush hog. My questions are how
easy is it to find a PTO for my D and how hard is it
to hook up the PTO? Any clue as to a price? Any help
you can provide will be apprecicated.
