finding an original can should be easy,, some early models were different some aftermarket filter cans were sold. as long as the shaft and the pinhole are covered, any filter will work. ford 8n, 800 filters are very flexible. also dodge/chevy six. i have a pile of nos filters toilet paper filters are to be avoided at all costs, due to fibre chips. ron
