[Steam-engine] wood bearings

Hydraulic (water) turbines frequently used wood (lignum vitae/iron wood) as  
the bottom bearing. It was also used on ship propeller shafts. It is now  hard 
to get (endangered species) and is frequently replaced with  Micarta.
