[AT] Portland Swap Meet

David's comment about taking his sons to this event made me think about
something. It is so important that we all evangelize others about the joys
of our positive hobbies/activities like restoring antiques be they tractors
or other parts of history. I try to make sure my boys get exposed to all of
the interests I have - well ok, not ADULT interests yet LOL! The three boys
are only 12 and 2 years old after all and there is plenty of time for them
to get interested in girls on their own.... But I believe that unless we do
that first with our own families and then with others, there will be a loss
of the sense of history and worth of preserving those good things from our
past. It is our responsibility to pass along as much possible to future
generations of that which is good and help them learn about what is not to
avoid repeating mistakes and having to relearn that which has already been
learned!
Just a little Tuesday morning philosophizing before going out to weld
and repair hay equipment....
