DSL without a firewall is very dangerous!
Anybody can look into your compuker from anywhere.
2 good options
1. Get a cheap firewall/router box from any office or computer store.
They are really cheap now, and if set up right make your computer
invisible to the world.
This has the advantage that you can add a couple more PCs to the
DSL later.
2. Get firewall software. I use Zone Alarm, free download.from
www.zonelabs.com
I have both, but don't run always ZoneAlarm, since it "protects" me from
doing my job,
embedded software development work.
