Herb,
Sounds like there are too many applications running or your virtual memory 
setting isn't correct. Try closing down anything that is not essential to 
downloading the Norton update and run that again. That will probably solve 
it. If not, reboot and try again. Sometimes Windows doesen't release all of 
the memory used by applications and simply runs out. A reboot usually solves 
the problem.
