Dean (and other others),
I did receive your messages and do understand the changes. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad and unfortunate time. I will await word from you in the future about a re-scheduled trip. Ready and willing to share the "green" hospitality here in the East as you did for me several years ago.

Your friend,
Mitch

Subject: [AJD] NW Iowa trip - Change of travel plans

We are in NW Iowa and are dealing with things as best we can. We truly
appreciate all the messages of support and kindness. We thank you and
appreciate it more than you can imagine. This has been extremely difficult
time due to the circumstances involved. Hopefully this pain will diminish
to a bearable level in due time.

We have had to change our trip plans again and will not be going to
Washington DC as planned. We are staying here until July 6th and then
returning directly back home to WA.

I hope Mitch Daly has received my email that we won't be coming to DC. I
would appreciate someone sending an email to him to make sure he has
received the info. md31043 at msn.com<mailto:md31043 at msn.com> In our scramble to leave home I've lost
  his cell phone number.

There won't be many messages from us due to the fact that we cannot get a
reliable or local phone connection here to my ISP. We have to connect
through an 888 number that charges by the minute and the best connection
speed is about 20 KB/s. We are going to try to find a local library where we
can get better connection speeds. I didn't expect this difficulty with att
worldnet.net. The physical phone lines here must not have been upgraded in
the last 50 years or more. We are staying at my brother's place and he does
not use computers so I suppose there hasn't been a need to do so.
