Let me try this again. What all on the list should be aware of is these
680,000 parts in stock are for almost all brands of equipment, not just JD.
However, it is owned by JD. This outfit picks up obsolete inventory from
equipment dealers, then warehouses and computer inventories them so we
consumers can see via their web site if they have that part in stock. I have
found "NOS" parts in their stock that I couldn't even find "used" anywhere
else.

The company is a redistributor of new, O.E.M. parts for the agricultural,
truck and construction dealers.

The Depot handles the following lines:

Case International
Navistar Truck (Supporting vendors Eaton, Spicer, Rockwell, Nissan 400 - 900
series)
Case Construction
Cub Cadet
Dresser (IH construction)
Ford/New Holland/Versatile Claas
John Deere
Massey Ferguson /Perkins

Agco including:

Deutz Allis
White
Minneapolis Moline
Oliver
New Idea
Farmhand
Glencoe
Allis Industrial/Fiat and Simplicity
Cummins Engine
Briggs & Stratton
Kewanee/Bushhog
Kohler
Kubota
Melroe Bobcat
Onan
Tecumseh
Tye
Wisconsin Engine
Woods

The web site is:

www.depotparts.com

In the left window pane Click on "Parts on Line"
Click on "I'm NOT a dealer"
Select "Brand" of parts you are looking for
Enter "Part Number" and check their inventory

This site doesn't work well with some browsers such as some versions of MS
IE. It will also require you to download a JAVA Applet. The site works best
with the FIREFOX browser but I don't use it. If you need a work around on
IE, I have learned a couple tricks that I will pass along if needed. They
have some technical FAQ's on the site in case you are having problems. Once
you get past the initial issues you will be able to check inventory
quantity, if they have any, but not be able to get a price. That has to come
from an authorized dealer who gets from 25% to 50% discount from the Parts
Depot recommended List Price. If your order is 10 lines or more and over
$400 at Parts Depot list prices they ship free to the dealer and therefore
the dealer shouldn't charge you freight on that sized order.

Call the Parts Depot at 1-800-743-3768 and ask them who your closest
authorized dealer is. You cannot order directly.
