[AJD] John Deere rake part

Not sure.    The spring itself is about an inch wide with two "antaenae" 
forward and back, so looks rather like an art deco escargot:-).   I don't 
know if those two protruding pieces of metal fulfill any practical purpose, 
but I have to assume they do.
