Howdy.. long time no hear.
Er..um.. how about 'freeze plug' The ford steering box uses a freeze
plug/welch plug (spelling?) in the bottom. You knock the plug out to remove
the lower thrust bearing race.. then reinstall bearing and hamemr a new plug
in.
By the way.. I finally got an orange tractor to go with my 'fleet' of fords
and other assorted flavors... I picked up a nice AC 'G' and restored early
this year... have had it at a few shows.
thanks
