[AJD] What are failed Master Brake Cylinder Symptoms?

A few years ago I was hauling grain from the combine to the bin with an old 
International gravel truck.  It consumed about a quart of brake fluid a day. 
It was going through the vacuum booster.  As I remember there was a cloud of 
white smoke from the exhaust every time I applied the brakes.  Try watching 
for this.  It may lead you to the problem.
